God’s Blessings to Pastors’ Wives and to Faith-filled Friends!

I have been blessed by God – truly and magnificently.  My name is Laura Bland, and I am a pastor’s wife….

I would like to share some of my experiences as a pastor’s wife with you and perhaps, just maybe, help you to find your place as a pastor’s wife, a friend, a congregational member, and Christ’s follower.

I am going to share my experiences, whether glorious or difficult, in hopes that you will be able to share more openly about your experiences as a pastor’s wife.  I believe that God especially surrounds pastors’ wives with His grace, “so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:17-19).

Let’s learn together through the Scriptures, incorporating our daily walk in our discussions and see how God might speak to us today and help us to find our calling as wives of pastors.

This weekend, as I was brainstorming about my own blog, Shawn said “Don’t be afraid to write about the struggle.” I can’t wait to read about your journey, however glorious or difficult it may be. So many women will relate and be inspired.
